Pengaruh Model Problem Based Learning Terhadap Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Matematika

Abstract


The purpose of this reseach is to know the effects of Problem Based learning (PBL) on mathematics learning outcomes. This study is class action reseach with subjects from class VIII-1 SMPN 18 Jakarta. The data of this reseach was obtained from test score, performance assessment and questions form. The data were analized using descriptive quantitative and quantitatively based on the percentage of success. This study used in problem based learning was regular polyhedra. The result of this study showed increasement of score in cycle I, II and III were 74, 77 and 80. The value of performance assessment showed increasing result for three cycle (66, 83 and 89  respectively). The learning result that reached minimun standard criteria in three cycles were 57%, 72%, and 80%. Based on the questionnare, 97% of participants had moderate and high understanding in learning using the PBL. The reseacher concluded that PBL have good impact on  the improvement of learning outcomes.
